We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Product and Platform Specialist, Customers and Business Intelligence


Business: Wealth & personal Banking  


Principal responsibilities


  • Solicit market intelligence and keep close dialogue with key stakeholders and customers to understand their needs, preference and new product trends.
  • Lead Capital Markets and Trading SVS initiatives, participating as a capability owner of data, reporting, onboarding and overall customer management capabilities.
  • Support active risk management and resolution of issues identified and prioritized by the Global Head of Brokerage, Platforms and Trading
  • Lead with data, building key performance indicators, recurring reporting and commentary that ensures HSBC is best servicing its client needs and meeting competition with the best of what the Bank has to offer.
  • Maintain a network of research firms which enable external benchmarking and market share sizing, which informs strategy development.
  • Tell stories with data visualization, including the creation of dynamic dashboards and analytics models that deliver enhanced, actionable insights.
  • Elicit and give weight to the voice of customer by organizing panels, third party and original research, surveys and commentary. Use this insight to respectfully challenge the status quo.
  • Maintain strong awareness of external industry trends, competitor approaches and strengths, regulator and exchange reporting.
  • Establish a strong working relationship with internal finance to drive financial resource planning in short and medium term. Manage financial risks and benefits for changes in business.
  • Implement change through positive and proactive engagement with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver commercial growth with a focus on market share and active self-directed traders.
  • Drive and manage strategic development and implementation to increase market competitiveness and enhance brand value
  • Collaborate and build effective relationships to support the proposition e.g. Local and Group Marketing, Customer, D&A, Proposition, Strategy, Strategic Partnerships, Technology and Digital
