Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIBM is establishing a new Global Procurement Operations organization and is seeking Routine Agreement Specialists to support strategic sourcing teams. This role involves managing the end-to-end routine agreement process with both new and existing suppliers. Key responsibilities include handling a variety of agreement types such as teaming agreements, confidentiality agreements, non-disclosure agreements, data privacy agreements, and localized/regional agreements like DORA. The ideal candidate will work closely with contract operations and sourcing buyers, facilitating redlining and ensuring agreement finalization, storage, and compliance tracking within IBM’s procurement systems.
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare, send, and track routine agreements for supplier signing, including specific agreements like confidentiality, data privacy, and regional documents.
- Collaborate with the contract operations and sourcing teams to redline and finalize agreement terms.
- Load signed agreements into procurement systems and monitor agreement closure and expiration timelines.
- Provide support and guidance on procurement system processes and supplier onboarding.
- Maintain alignment between routine agreement management and supplier onboarding processes.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Minimum 2-3 years in procurement, with a strong understanding of Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay processes.
- Proficiency in using Source-to-Contract systems, preferably SAP Ariba.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, with a client-facing approach.
- Proven ability to build balanced supplier and client relationships.
- Skilled in problem-solving, data organization, and reporting.
- Basic knowledge in negotiations, contract management, and communication.
- Eager to learn, adaptable to new challenges, and innovative in reimagining workflows to improve efficiency and risk management.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Fluency in additional languages is a bonus (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese).
- Familiarity with procurement applications like Bond, CAAPS, and SAP Ariba Procure-to-Pay is desirable.
