- Researching to identify the most suitable products and suppliers based on value, delivery timelines, and quality
- Negotiating contracts and ensuring the quality of service delivered
- Maintaining the contracts in our records and utilizing them as a reference for future use
- Predicting the demand levels for services and products
- Building and maintaining good relationships with new and existing suppliers
- Developing strategies to make sure that cost savings and supplier performance targets are met - or exceeded
- Ensuring the security and sustainability of sources of essential products and services
- Performing market research, evaluating data, and generating reports
