•Strong understanding of strategic sourcing and category management processes•Lead Programs like Category management, Strategic Sourcing, Tail Spend Management, SRM, etc•Understand existing category strategies and develop/refresh category strategies based on best practices with minimal guidance from supervisor•Partner with customer’s business stakeholders throughout the engagement•Contribute to internal category advisory groups to develop category intelligence•Analyze various complex data-sets and deliver insights•Prepare project specific plans on MS-Excel, MS-Projects or other similar tools•Lead complex sourcing projects across specific Direct & Indirect categories•Independently develop sourcing strategies as per the project pipeline•Possess thorough understanding of end to end contract lifecycle and lead contract management process•Perform SRM activities like supplier financial ratings, supplier profiling, evaluations, SWOT analysis, segmentation, etc•Support TCO analysis and track performance•Ensure team meets targets agreed with customers like savings, on-time execution, accuracy, etc•Present reports & dashboards to procurement leadership•Be the second point of escalation for customers•Manage direct relationship with mid to senior level customer stakeholders•Support internal leaders in business development process by acting as category SME during initial engagement period•Work in a cross-cultural team environment effectively•Responsive to customers and colleagues•Possess strong communication skills•Stays focused and controlled in difficult situations•Solve problems with logical decision making•Ability to seek guidance when required•Attention to details•Understand & articulate business language•Exhibits desire to learn and grow•Always display strong ethics•Lead on-boarding of new team members•Lead a team of 6-10 members and provide coaching & training on an on-going basis to the team•Possess program management mind-setShow case strong leadership skills•Bachelor’s degree (Required)•Master’s Degree (Preferred)•Specialization in Supply Chain (Preferred)•8-10 year(s) in ProcurementBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
