Within Azure Data, the databases team builds and maintains Microsoft's operational Database systems. We store and manage data in a structured way to enable multitude of applications across various industries. We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Principal Software Engineering Manager with strong background in systems design/databases to lead Azure CosmosDB for MongoDB / Azure CosmosDB for PostgreSQL team. As engineering leader, you will be managing a highly talented software engineering team in the Relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Mongo) space, helping team deliver features spanning the query engine, index structures and storage layouts. We’re looking for someone who has demonstrated history of solving hard technical problems, is motivated to take initiative and help the team deliver fast for the entire product lifecycle.
