A Day in the Life
As a Principal Engineer at MEIC, you will collaborate with global Medical Devices teams to design, develop, and enhance medical devices. You will handle project management, mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects to achieve excellent outcomes.
- Collaborate with global teams to drive business success.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Resolve conflicts and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee all phases of product development, including R&D deliverables.
- Perform engineering analyses, including Mold Flow.
- Create 2D drawings (ASME standards) and 3D CAD models (Creo).
- Ensure compliance with medical device standards (ISO 13485, ISO 14971, 21 CFR Part 820).

Must-Have Qualifications:

- Advanced knowledge of Design Tools.

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 14+ years of experience, or a PhD with 12+ years of experience.

- Strong communication skills and experience managing teams.

- Proficiency in concept development, prototyping, benchmarking, and CAD tools.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

- Experience in the medical device industry.

- Master’s degree or PhD.

- GD&T Certification.

- Proficiency in Cetol.
