Principal Product Manager
Key Accountabilities:
- Understand the need/problems of the persona, identify capabilities and features which deliver value to the persona.
- In collaboration with Product Marketing team, understand the market, size the opportunity & understand the investment (one time & recurring) to develop the business case.
- With help from Product Marketing teams, regional counterparts etc., understand the business environment/context and develop the product/module(s) strategy accordingly.
- Develop the Go-to-market strategy along with the relevant teams.
- Own product modules and develop a deep functional knowledge.
- Based on the finalized strategy, build, and own a value-driven roadmap in collaboration with various other internal & external stakeholders.
- Develop a prioritization criterion for prioritizing the requirements for the evolution of the product/module(s).
- Lead the product presentations/ demos and address functional queries from the customer.
- Support the Agile team through various iterations and provide feedback on demos, participate in Sprints reviews etc.
- Work closely with Engineering, Strategy, Customer Support, Product Marketing etc. teams as required.
- Be accountable for all aspects of the product/module(s) and embark various roles on the journey of developing and maintaining successful products/module(s).
- Being data driven and define the KPIs, NSM to track the impact/outcome & success of the product/module(s).
- Capture frequent feedback from the customer and act on that.
- Share the product/module(s) knowledge and ensure understanding of the business context around the organization.
- Support/lead the RFPs by understanding customer needs and closely working with the pre-Sales team.
- Develop the business case for the new ideas and find a way in the organization to make those a reality.
- Participate in the preparation of the key company events and provide the content related to your product.
- Mentor and support junior PMs in the team.
- Have expertise in PLC (Product Life Cycle) process and implement it efficiently in your space.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably in software branches e.g. Computer Science, Information Science etc.).
- Master’s degree in business (e.g., MBA, preferable)
- Relevant courses in Product Management, Product Marketing etc.
Relevant work experience:
- Experience in Software Development Lifecyle and Agile Methodology
- Minimum 6+ years of end-to-end Product Management experience
- Work experience in Airline & Travel industry Preferred
