A Day in the LifeWithin Global Regions ITMO we are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with a passion for Agile and Scrum and a strong focus on delighting customers. Someone who can take our teams to the next level and is not afraid to be disruptive and challenge the status quo. You can coach the developers, the Product Owner, and the surrounding organization. You know how to guide teams towards improving their practices. To make this work, you are aware that everybody in the organization must learn and practice a holistic and complete set of new mindsets and skills. You love to contribute by sharing your knowledge and collaborating with other Scrum Masters, Developers, Product Owners, and Stakeholders. You have an entrepreneurial mindset, and love to experiment to test your assumptions.As a Scrum Master, you help Medtronic succeed by establishing a clear focus on the customer and the delivery of value and high quality.
You are an active and deep listener, focusing on what is being said instead of what you want to say.    
Coaching and guiding the teams in self-management and cross-functionality is key to this role.
You ensure that all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.
With that, you help the Product Owner improve the way the product is managed by establishing an empirical product planning and creating transparency.
You work together with a group of motivated Agile practitioners to lead, train, and coach Medtronic in its’ change effort

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Demonstrable experience with improving the effectiveness of teams.
  • Knowledge of and experience of coaching teams.
  • Official Scrum Master certificate, PSM-II or equivalent.
  •  Knowledge of and experience with Agile, Scrum, Lean, DevOps and team coaching.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Delivery principles.
  • Proficiency in English is a requirement.
  • Strong preference for proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor/Master’s degree.
  • Overall 14+ years of IT software development experience, 5+ years or more experience as a Scrum Master in a coaching/facilitating role.
  • Extensive experience within a complex IT organization in the last 2 years.
  • Demonstrable experience with improving the effectiveness of teams.
  •  Knowledge of and experience of coaching teams.
  • Official Scrum Master certificate, PSM-II or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Agile, Scrum, Lean, DevOps and team coaching.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Delivery principles.
  • Proficiency in English is a requirement.
