What you’ll achieve

As a Principal Engineer, you will provide world-class delivery support to our customers by building an in-depth knowledge of our customers’ priorities and initiatives and becoming a trusted advisor that avoids customer impact and facilitates continuous improvement. You will identify potential sales and growth opportunities and will partner with key stakeholders to maximize these prospects.

You will:

• As a Infra Principal Engineer, Service Delivery will be responsible for providing the primary management, administration, support, and ongoing maintenance of customer Infrastructure Platforms within a 24x7x365 environment and data center environment.
• This role must be able to understand, execute, and document moderate to complex operational tasks and work requests that are assigned and have experience in moderate to complex research and fact finding using various tools and informational sources.
• The role will be expected to work in a positive and collaborative fashion with fellow team members, senior engineering/architect staff, vendors, and customers.
• The Infra Delivery Specialist will assist with process maturation, development, technical standards creation, and drive operational excellence through consistent delivery and best practices.
• This role will also include the core fundamentals of day-to-day operations, based off the ITIL v3 methodology.

• Total 10+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with Dell PowerFlex (formerly VxFlex).
• Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing PowerFlex systems.
• In-depth knowledge of Dell PowerFlex architecture and components.
• Experience with software-defined storage (SDS) and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI).
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware with VSAN, Hyper-Vwith Storage space direct , etc.

Desirable Requirements

• Relevant Dell EMC certifications (e.g., Dell EMC Proven Professional) are highly desirable
• Other IT certifications (e.g., VMware, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.
