Principal Engineer – Data Engineer

This role will ensure the smooth operation and optimization of our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform from technical and business perspectives. As an AEM Platform Developer, you will be responsible for administering, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the AEM platform to meet the needs of our organization and deliver exceptional digital experiences to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess solid technical acumen in AEM administration, configuration, maintenance, optimization, and development. They will also have a keen understanding of business needs and the ability to align technical solutions with organizational goals. By leveraging their expertise, the ideal candidate will contribute to the success of our digital initiatives, ensuring a reliable, secure, and high-performing AEM platform that drives business growth and delivers exceptional digital experiences to our customers.

Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience operating and developing AEM solutions or similar content management systems.
• Ability to set up, maintain, troubleshoot environments based on AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) ant the CI/CD pipelines
• Front end experience and Adobe certification would be a plus.
• 3+ years of Experience with AEM as a Cloud service or 5+ years of experience with other cloud platforms (Google, Amazon, Microsoft).

Key Responsibilities:

• Administrate and ensure proper configuration of our AEM Environments (configuration, patching, resolving issues, administration, creation and set up of new entities).
• Ensure platform health, synchronization across the environments and proper configuration, operation of the CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure seamless integration between business platforms and systems.
• Investigate, resolve and proactively track platform issues to maintain system integrity.
• Configure, review and enhance dispatcher configuration to ensure best possible effectiveness, performance and security.
• Optimize JVM configuration to ensure best possible performance and visitor satisfaction.
• Ensure the health of the platform and availability of the services by cooperating with other teams ensuring proper state of, among other, DNS records, Certificates.

Skills and Attributes:

• Experience with AEM solutions and non-functional aspects .
• Proficiency in configuring and maintaining AEM instances.
• Knowledge of AEM persistence layers (e.g., MongoDB, TarMK).
• Familiarity with Apache and dispatcher configuration.
• Understanding of AEM replication agents, JVM and OSGi settings.
• Experience with J2EE development and enterprise Java frameworks.
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Experience in AEM performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and independently.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning.
• Flexible and accommodating to get the project/task completed on time
