The Role


As a Digital Solutions Consultant with Worley,you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.


  • Context: The Data Governance & Information Management team drives a strong data culture through education and awareness, unlocking the potential of Worley’s data by ensuring the protection, integrity, and availability of the organization’s information assets.
  • With your self-starter mindset you’ll drive a risk-based approach to how we manage information across its lifecycle at Worley.
  • An effective communicator, you’ll be adept at driving conversation, gaining consensus, with a practical and value-adding approach.
  • Conduct risk assessments to understand the likelihood and impact of threats and vulnerabilities on our information assets across the lifecycle from creation, storage, handling, access management, decommissioning and disposal.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, I&DD and vendors to recommend effective mitigation of risks.Use a ‘critical thinking’ mindset to analyse options, to achieve the best possible outcomes for Worley.
  • Effectively communicate risks and mitigations to business stakeholders to ensure treatment plans and residual risk is fully understood.
  • Contribute to the business-wide implementation of Microsoft Purview, our platform for managing information classification and data loss prevention. Work with Security team to develop policies relevant to business needs and monitor adoption.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify sensitive information types, understand how and where we use sensitive information. Promote information classification and protection awareness across the business.
  • Classify new applications utilizing information classification as a foundation for managing risk by identifying our most sensitive data and data sources.Work with InfoSec and Application Governance teams to ensure Worley’s sensitive information is always protected.

About You


To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:


  • Proven experience in information management or other IT/data related role.
  • Strong communication skills – able to engage and influence.
  • Strong written communication skills able to capture and convey information in a concise and compelling manner.
