We're seeking a talented Principal Device Validation Engineering Manager with exposure to end-to-end product lifecycle. You will lead a team of engineers responsible for defining, implementing, and evolving scalable engineering solutions and strategies for the validation of quality on personal computing devices. 


As part of the Surface Post Launch Engineering Design Validation Engineering team, you will be responsible for characterizing and quantifying the quality of one or more Surface product families through multiple release cycles.  You will need to become strongly familiar with multiple engineering systems and validation methodologies used across a breadth of technology areas such as firmware, power, performance, and kernel mode drivers.  You will be required to have strong collaborative and leadership skills as a team player to work with peers, different technology teams, organizations, external companies and service partners in order to realize our engineering, business, and customer satisfaction goals.
