If you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you.  We are currently seeking a Principal Designers - Cicil & Structural with 12 to 18 years of relevant industry experience to join our team based in Chennai and support our site in Assam.

About the Job

• Preparation of Structural steel and concrete works ( Technological structures, Pipe Racks, Concrete structures, Foundations, Equipment foundations ) in ACAD/Microstation
• 3D Modelling of all Civil & Structural Facilities (Tekla/S3D)
• Extraction of General arrangement 2D Drawings from 3D model including clash checking 
• Extraction of Detailed 2D drawings from 3D model and Preparation of construction drawings including checking errors/mismatches
• Preparation of  Under Ground (UG) Networks drawings (Foundation, Piping, Drains, Trenches, etc)
• 3D Modelling of all Underground Facilities (S3D)
• Extraction of 2D Installation Drawings from 3D model including clash checking 
• Extraction of UG Piping ISOs                 
• Incorporation of inter discipline comments and client comments
• Coordination with other engineering disciplines for clash resolution/technical issues
• Participation in Model Reviews 
• Material take-offs
• Adhere to Corporate QHSE policy.
• Managing EPCM/PMC project
• Review and approval of structural steel fabrication drawings
• Managing/Review of EPC contractor’s Civil & Structural steel Drawings.
• Managing Site activities/Queries related to Civil & Structural works.

Main Tasks:

• To ensure clash free models.
• Issue of Civil, Structural and UG Works Installation drawings with required quality as per project schedules.
• Follow up with other disciplines for comment resolution.

About You

• Willingness to relocate to Assam site for design and site support.
• Diploma in Engineering with at least 12 to 18 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Fertilizer industries is preferred
• Experience in 2D drawings ( Autocad / Microstation etc.,)
• Experience in 3D Modeling (PDMS, S3D E3D, TEKLA etc., )
• Experience in extraction of 2D drawings from 3D models.
• Shall be well versed with Indian and International codes 
• Experience in Building drawings, Concrete Detailing, Architectural drawings preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is essential. Ability to foster communication within diverse cultural environments.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  Field engineering / Site coordination  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  Frequent Visit to Site for review, Clash management resolution
