The Role - Presales Manager
Location:
Mumbai
At Seclore, we are all
entrepreneurs, not employees. We are looking for a Presales Manager to
lead and manage the presales team in India.
As a Presales Manager, you will
coordinate with the Director of Sales Engineering, the strategic direction of
the presales function by working closely with cross-functional teams to provide
technical expertise and ensure successful client engagements. You will also
manage and mentor a team of presales engineers, fostering innovation and
guiding them toward achieving business goals.
Responsibilities
Here are some key responsibilities
that are more managerial in nature, highlighted for change:
Lead and manage a team of presales
engineers, providing mentorship, direction, and development to meet business
goals.
Partner with the sales team and
engage with prospective customers to introduce Seclore’s products and
solutions.
Develop an understanding of customer
needs and design/deliver high-quality C-level presentations and technical demos
that meet them.
Be the subject matter expert:
develop an excellent understanding of Seclore’s product portfolio and develop
solutions that fully utilize the product capabilities.
Oversee the technical qualification
and ensure the team qualifies the prospect from a use case and technical
perspective.
Manage the technical evaluation
process, ensuring that the team identifies scope, pre-requisites, technical
evaluation, and technical closure.
Provide leadership in supporting the
Partner ecosystems in creating the best fit solution for prospects/customers.
Develop strategic relationships with
partner technical teams and enablement programs.
Work on the RFP bids.
Work with cross-functional teams
like product management, product marketing, product delivery, engineering, and
support to ensure an effective product sale.
Act as the key liaison between
presales, product teams, and customer success teams, driving improvements in
both product and process based on customer feedback.
Be the voice of the customer: act as
the liaison between the prospect/customer and product team.
Maintain and updates opportunities
and activities on CRM.
Candidate Profile
Minimum 12+ years’ experience in an
enterprise software company in a customer-facing presales managerial role.
Fluency in English is a must.
Preferably worked at a
security-focused software company.
Proven experience leading and
managing presales teams in sales quota-driven environment.
Demonstrated skills to creatively
design and offer business solutions to prospect/customer needs.
Experience in conducting technical
presentations, product demos, proofs-of-concept, user training.
Excellent verbal and written
communication skills.
Excellent soft skills with the
ability to articulate complex technical content to both technical and non-technical
audiences.
Strong leadership and motivational
skills with a proven ability to lead teams towards achieving targets.
Self-motivated team player with a
clear focus on closing deals and bringing in business.
Knowledge of the channel ecosystem
in North India.
Open to Travel as business demands.
Qualification
A bachelor’s or master’s degree.
An MBA will be an added advantage.
