Position Title: Associate Director
Software Requirements:
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with marketing and communication tools (e.g., Marketo, Pardot, Hootsuite).
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Slack).
Overall Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of the company's sales strategy to drive revenue growth.
- Oversee the sales team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to achieve their goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends to enhance sales efforts.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns that support sales initiatives.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
- Provide regular performance updates to senior management regarding the sales team's achievements and market insights.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to sales and marketing activities.
Category-wise Technical Skills:
Sales Leadership:
- 10 years of experience in sales and sales leadership roles.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Sales Best Practices:
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Market Insight:
- Strong understanding of market and industry trends.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data.
Experience:
- Minimum between 14 to 17 years of experience in sales, with a focus on leadership and strategic development.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and managing sales teams.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Lead and support the sales team in achieving their goals and targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
- Identify and analyze new business opportunities and market trends.
- Develop and execute detailed sales plans to ensure targets are met.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute effective marketing campaigns.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance and market conditions.
- Attend trade shows, events, and customer meetings to build relationships and gather market intelligence.
Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
