How will you make an impact?
Pre-Sales application engineer (AE) will be responsible to support sales and product specialist team across India for LC/ LCMS products and will focus on Biopharma workflow development and promotion. AE will perform customer demos, customer trainings, internal team training, product presentation etc. AE will also work closely with different stake holders like product specialist, marketing, R&D, product support, commercial teams as well as customers to understand current market and application requirements to develop new application notes, workflow solutions etc. This position will be reporting to the application Manager -India
What you will do?
- Demonstrate the capabilities of Agilent LC/LCMS portfolio through sample analysis, dry demos etc
- Provide training to Agilent users
- Conduct Agilent user meets with the help of product specialist team
- Develop methods and workflows focussing on Biopharma to enable our customers to utilize Agilent instruments in its full capacity
- Conduct webinars/seminars to educate customers about Agilent’s unique capabilities
- Understand customer’s application requirements and help PS/AMs to provide right instrument configurations.
- Work with key opinion leaders/reference customers to develop application notes/research publications/ marketing collaterals etc
- Need to be technically strong to understand customer requirements and recommend right products.
QualificationsHow will you you get here?
- MSc/M pharm/Ph.D degree in science or equivalent (chemistry, biology, pharma or related discipline)
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience on LC/LCMS, LC-QQQ, LC Q-TOF and HRMS system
- Experience in Biopharma with expertise in LC/LCMS and HRMS
- Strong market knowledge of biopharma/pharma
- Excellent presentation skill along with strong communication skill is required
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- The high comfort level of interacting, discussing, and presenting to internal/external customers
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations across India and APAC region
