We are looking for a high-judgement, self-motivated, and creative communications professional to manage press office activities for Amazon Operations, including our fulfillment and transportation networks across India. As part of our Corporate Communications team, you will be responsible for shaping and protecting Amazon’s reputation through effective communications strategies and media relations. The role is based in our India headquarters in Bangalore. This individual must have expertise in media relations, must have excellent writing and reasoning skills and should have prior experience of working on reputational issues .
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute external communications programs on various initiatives, working with international, national and regional media outlets across the country.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media.
- Daily press office media management.
- Identify and leverage data to support storytelling efforts.
- Successfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges and be able to deal with ambiguity.
- Show extraordinary high judgment, particularly in narrow time frames.
- 10+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
- Experience in professional communications or public relations
