About the Role:


We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic PR & Communications Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent writing and communication skills and a strong desire to learn about public relations, media relations, and corporate communications. This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to quickly learn new skills and contribute meaningfully to the team's projects.


Responsibilities:


  • Media Relations:
    • Assist in developing and updating media lists.
    • Conduct media research and identify relevant journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
    • Monitor media coverage and prepare media reports.
    • Support the coordination of media interviews and press conferences.
  • Content Creation:
    • Draft engaging content for various platforms, including website news, blog posts, social media, and internal communications.
    • Assist in developing content calendars and social media strategies.
    • Proofread and edit communications materials.
  • Communications Support:
    • Assist in the development and execution of communication plans and campaigns.
    • Maintain and organize PR and communications materials.
    • Assist with event planning and logistics.
  • Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and media coverage.
    • Analyze data and prepare reports on PR and communications activities.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Handle administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and scheduling.
    • Maintain databases and contact lists.
