PPC / Planning Manager

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Well-organized self-starter with great attention to join the team as the Planning Manager. Day-to-day responsibilities include drawing up work schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams, meeting customers' request dates, and constant communication with Customers, Sales, CRM, Engineering, and Production. Should be able to analyze data, write reports, and deliver presentations to various stakeholders.
To be successful as a Planning Manager, he should demonstrate a sound knowledge of the relevant Engineering discipline and be able to anticipate problems. Outstanding planning engineer who should pay great attention to detail and be able to handle stress well.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required, Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in industrial management is required with exposure to Machine Shop Planning.
• Aware of all related manufacturing processes. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the complete value chain from Order Booking until Goods Delivery to customers.
• Responsible for optimization of the resources based on customer demand and the utilization of inventory & machines.
• Oversees manufacturing of products (exposure to Machine Shop planning/ loading is must), ensuring production performance and quality standards are consistently met.
• Promoting and developing the company's brand. Finding new business opportunities. Building a good relationship with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders. 
• Creating business plans and strategies to improve the overall business sales in line with the vision and mission of the Organization. 
• Responsible for timely delivery of customer orders. Ensure Effective planning which will optimize the resources. 
• Ensures a healthy and safe working environment, and compliance with statutory requirements and regulations ,through collaboration with environmental, health, and safety staff.
• Works closely with Planning Head for long-range operating goals, expansion efforts, and implementation of new and advanced technology.
• Identifies and ensures required training for staff to build and improve skills.
• Organizes departmental management structure and teams for optimal, efficient operations.
• Works with finance to develop an operating budget.
• Identify, Implement, and monitor performance scorecards at all key positions of the Organization. Ensure continual improvement in it.
• Ensure implementation of applicable Quality management system.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Thorough understanding of the policies and practices used in the manufacturing division.
• Thorough understanding of all customer and stakeholder requirements.
• Ability to set long-term goals and communicate them to others.
• Ability to motivate and organize multiple efforts to accomplish goals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Able to work in a fast-paced quality –oriented manufacturing environment.
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as determined for the position
