Project Overview:

Bechtel is seeking to expand its decades long relationship with Reliance by providing Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi-billion-dollar upgrade / expansion of existing petrochemical facilities in India. Reliance plans to augment its existing petrochemical facilities in Dahej, Gujarat, and Nagothane, Maharashtra, to expand its PVC capacity. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region, the project sites in India, as well as several key contractor locations across India. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel’s India offices. The positions on the project will start as assignment in Navi Mumbai, Dahej or Nagothane.

Job Summary:

The Power BI Analyst role is part of the Project Information Management (IM) team and will design and maintain the Project Power BI Dashboards. The project IM scope will focus on data Quality, Completeness, and Consistency in the Engineering design tools and the owner handover data templates. The PBI reports will help visualize and provide feedback to the data owners and project stakeholders. The Power BI Analyst role will also support dashboarding and visualization of data for the various project functions to share and track progress with management and client teams.

Major Responsibilities:

• Design and development of Project focused business intelligence and data analytical Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
• Collaborates between Design Architecture diagrams that will help the team and integration partners to understand solution and vision.
• Data ingestion and integration with other services
• Interfaces with designated Bechtel management and functional counterparts in support of project initiatives

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency and familiarity with data science, business intelligence, and data analytics.
• Should be aware of data integration, data warehousing, modeling, along with presentation tactics and concepts.
• Significant Experience working with BI tools and BI systems.
• Proficiency in DAX, M Queries, and Row Level Security (RLS)
• Basic scripting knowledge would be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of programming in Python would be an added advantage.
• Well informed about Microsoft BI stack.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Business Intelligence stack like Power Pivot, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS would be an add-ed advantage.
• SQL Server and/or Oracle experience writing database queries to create tables, views, stored procedures, indexes.
• Familiar with database tools for troubleshooting and query performance analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to present dashboards and analysis to the IM Team, and other functions.
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet required delivery dates.
• Familiarity with Bechtel Data Integration, EPC BSAP toolset and data is an advantage
• Experience with deploying the typical Bechtel Power BI dashboard is an advantage.
