Job Description

Location : Gurugram (Onsite)


Responsibility


  • To ensure timely and accurate settlement of shares, Bonds , which includes all operational aspects of processing transactions from trade confirmation, Market instruction, Pre matching, fail management and reconciliation.


  • Connecting with brokers/Custodian to review trade to ensure domestic and international trade is matched on key trade information.


  • Manually instruct transaction for cash equities & bonds trades as needed.


  • Adequately manage fails for timely resolution & to minimize risk.


  • Work closely with Desk & Middle Office teams to resolve any trade related queries/corrections.


  • Identify trends of failed trades to reduce risk for missing or incorrect instructions, or system limitations.


  • Manage relationships with executing brokers, custodian, and traders to ensure professional relationships.


  • Provide support for various projects/initiatives for the Product/Front office/business.


  • Provide testing of systems, generate ad-hoc reports and assist in miscellaneous projects or for enhancements.

 You are comfortable with communicating and taking the lead, and at the same time, where necessary, you are willing to challenge the status quo. Further we are looking for a candidate with the following professional competencies :


  • 1-3 years of Relevant experience in Securities and Cash settlement (Bond, Equity )


  • Knowledge of financial products and knowledge of the full trading lifecycle would be beneficial


  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with diverse & global teams,


  • Strong decision-making abilities.


  • Excellent problem solving and strong analytical abilities.
