Area of Responsibilities/Tasks
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and experienced sales professional to drive growth in our Port Vertical.  These dynamic Verticals are rapidly growing and needs a highly motivated sales leader to identify and develop customer opportunities into successful solutions and services for the accounts they will serve.
Key Responsibilities: 
Port Vertical Sales Lead:
1.Market Research: Conduct vertical market research & Scan market to identify new sales opportunities and evaluate the competitive landscape. 
2.Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Formulate and execute strategic sales plans tailored to the specific vertical market to meet OpCo goals and objectives.
3.Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts & stakeholders within the vertical market & customers buying center.
4.Customer Advocacy: Become a trusted advisor to customers in the assigned industries and understand customer’s business drivers & concerns to bring outside-in perspectives. 
5.Build Value Propositions: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations & techno-commercial value proposition to potential clients within the vertical.
6.Growing Share of Wallet: Expand existing and new customer relationships by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within our solutions and services business.
7.Team Management: Lead sales / BU teams to participate in sales activities including pre-bid reviews, risk management, bid preparation and ensure securing order intake. 
8.Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze sales performance and market trends, providing regular reports to HQ Vertical markets team and SI Sales / OpCo management.
9.Customer Satisfaction: Address and resolve customer complaints and queries to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
10.Sales Administration: Manage sales administration tasks, including forecasting, reporting, pipeline management, and CRM management.
Job Requirements
1. Educational Background: An Engineering Degree (preferably in Electrical Engineering) is required; a master’s degree in marketing is a plus.
2. Experience: 15-20 years within a B2B industry environment handling front end sales, vertical sales. Strong understanding of design & operational requirements of Ports, including industry standards, processes & regulations, value chains, etc. Strong techno-commercial acumen. 
3. Customer and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated impact on relationship management with key customers within the vertical through strong interpersonal skills.
4. Communication and Networking: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for building relationships and influencing key stakeholders internally & externally.
5. Stakeholder Management: Strong relationship building with various stake holders including end users, developers, consultants, GC / EPC, contractors and related Government agencies.
6. Team Collaboration: Excellent team player with strong networking abilities to work in a matrix organizational setup.
7. Product and Market Knowledge: Good understanding of product knowledge, market trends, and commercial concepts. Consultative selling & solution-oriented approach. 
8. Adept with Sales Tools: Good understanding of CRM tools, presentation tools, web-based portal for tendering, offer preparation tools – MS office.
