Job Description:
The Portfolio, control & change manager governs and prioritizes all projects within the team, including Continuous Improvement (CI) activities. This involves managing the project pipeline, hosting change councils for approvals, and monitoring progress. The manager also coaches and supports teams in design thinking, sprint delivery, and overall project management. They will manage the monitoring and measuring the Ops & Advisory budget, handling allocations, creating financial models to support projects, and evaluating the ROI of CI-related activities. Furthermore, the manager leads change and release management, ensuring the quality of methodologies used.
This role is also responsible for leading all aspects of and implementing the Operations & Advisory’s risk management framework, robust process controls, crisis management, business continuity planning (BCP), leading data privacy risk & compliance within P&C functions and promote ethics & compliance behaviour within the functions.
This role will be expected to collaborate with all the global operation team leaders, excellence & experience leads, Global solutions owners, or COE to ensure O&A is operate in safe, control and compliance across operations, tools, and projects delivery.
Operations & Advisory (O&A) is an internal global shared services within People & Culture. It is responsible for innovating & delivering HR services and solutions for bp globally, from a number of Business & Technology Centres and local delivery teams. O&A is the first point of contact for HR related matters; the team are policy, process and digital experts, dedicated to delivering the best customer experience.
