Role Description
The role incumbent, with 5-6 years’ experience in Market Research, in this role, is responsible to plan and ensure the seamless execution of the entire life cycle of multiple, complex market research projects assigned to him/her / them. He/she/They have to be the bridge across all project stakeholders and suppliers, manage project schedule, ensure delivery as per agreed SLAs, while monitoring financial parameters Roles & Responsibilities

Understand the Client domain, the product (Kantar viz. cross-media, Brand, Creative etc.), the project and the job-specs

Understand the client business objective

Ensure end to end project management from questionnaire designing phase to deliverables and closure as per agreed terms for multiple projects that are multi-country / multi-category studies (10+ cells) and/ or ad-hoc studies. Own project outcomes

Support towards development of the proposal, creation of questionnaires considering the specific objectives of each client, costing finalization, in collaboration with various stakeholders
−
Proactively list all the relevant internal and external information that will be required for the project design/setup and alert local account team to these needs
−
Source quotes from external suppliers, where appropriate, always ensuring that the best cost and timing has been given and work with the client service team for all necessary approvals

Use knowledge of fieldwork challenges in different markets to recommend appropriate solutions/methodologies when required for non-standard projects
−
Manage the overall project timelines, ensuring that milestones are met and signed off at the various stages of the project execution
−
Ensure that all stakeholders have access/are notified of timelines
−
Commission all internal and external stakeholders
−
Co-ordinate with Kantar Profiles teams for Fieldwork management
−
Coordinate with the production teams and clients (CS/in-market team for seamless project execution
−
Execute project plans to ensure timely and accurate delivery of outcomes in alignment with the agreed design, timeline, and budget
−
Accountable for quality control throughout the entire project, from inputs to deliverables (in questionnaires, scripts,) code frames, meeting specifications and within specified timelines
−
Responsible for script checking, before sharing with the client
−
Independently manage client communication. Establish a primary point of contact with stakeholders and nurture relationships
−
Proactively foster stronger relationships between Client Service, local teams, and technical teams
−
Lead or participate in kick-off meetings, review meetings, regular status calls, and consistently provide project status updates, address queries, and offer support and guidance to all relevant teams
−
Handle queries around quotas for online and offline studies
−
Maintain Issue Log, log and document all feedback, accurately by the set deadline, adhering to process protocols and conventions.

Monitor and ensure adherence to project scope as per SoW.

Ensure adherence to client-specified SLAs and inform all stakeholders of project status especially with respect to scope, time and cost (estimated vs actual), along with progress. Escalate and seek assistance on issues at risk, Troubleshoot and resolve queries from various stakeholders while supporting Project lead for root cause analysis (RCA) and action steps.

Comply with defined processes and guidelines as per ISO manual, Internal defined Ways of Working / processes (eg. SDM), ISMS, GDPR etc.

Interact with Stakeholders across functions within the cluster / country team

Deliver to defined performance metrics and competencies
−
Adhere to defined work practices viz. Time Sheets, work status, responsiveness to queries, escalation to line manager

Successful completion & certification on internal skill level trainings; SUP Advance Topics within specified timelines
−
Ensure timely invoicing as well as financial documentation for external vendors/partners
−
Manage billing and invoicing tasks and ensure timely closure of monthly invoicing
−
Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of processes (based on data)provide suggestions and/or feedback and contribute to continuous improvement. Document best practices and key project related learnings, upon project closure. Engage in and contribute to best practice sharing

Contribute to ISO Audits (internal and external) and compliance
−
Contribute, as an SME, in SUP (Skill Upgradation Program) initiatives
−
Contribute as a Buddy / Mentor for new joiners in the team on technical and process aspects of the task
−
Ensure that all QC activities are completed within the designated timeframe
−
Review the project plan and approve timelines.
−
Any other task as provided by the Manager or the organization at any time
Technical skills
−
5-6 years of experience in Market Research with at least 5 years as PM with end-to-end MR cycle exposure and experience in managing multi-country / multi-category studies (10+ cells)
−
Knowledge of market research techniques and tools
−
Knowledge of market research sample: quotas, targets, etc.
−
Knowledge of Marketing Research process: Scripting, fieldwork and data collection, topline checks, coding, deliverables, dashboard, and reports
−
Knowledge and experience of Kantar Project Management tools and techniques
−
Strong knowledge of Kantar ways of working (SDM and its applicability, control documents, processes)
−
High level of Proficiency in MS Office suite is essential
−
Strong written and verbal communication in English
