Job Description:
• Implements at an operational and tactical level some aspects of the strategic supply chain’s aims of the region or cluster. For example, a Supply Coordinator develops the supply plan across the entire planning horizon for the allocated portfolio to ensure that the right product is available at each location within the region/cluster in order to meet customer orders. A 3rd Party & Materials Supply Coordinator ensures that 3rd party suppliers are meeting their contractual obligations and are delivering products in line with the business requirements. A Materials Supplier Coordinator performs as the materials component project and continuous improvement focal point to handle change and improvements within the materials planning space.
• Interprets and evaluates information and advice from experts in an area of expertise in order to complete assigned tasks. Tests the viability of proposals in an area of expertise and recommends solutions. Directed by standards and procedures.
• Engages with one or more (groups of) internal and external stakeholders on tactical issues, supported and guided by a senior colleague or manager. For example, a 3rd Party & Materials Supply Coordinator identifies with 3rd party suppliers value creation opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the supply agreement and to deliver long-term benefits. A Materials Supplier Coordinator coordinates with local suppliers and plant planners.
• Responsible for executing short to medium-term plans (tactical optimisation).
