Your role:

Cyber Security Expert – OT is an integral member of a global agile stream and shares responsibilities with development engineers’ being part of the scrum team. In this position you will work in a multi-disciplinary group of mechanical, electrical, controls (PLC) and software engineers. This role requires frequent synchronization with the System Architect. You will report to the Group Leader/Development Manager in DCE India.

Your qualification:

BE. / B. Tech/ (Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Instrumentation, or allied engg. branch) from a recognized University / Institution.

Professional experience:

At least 6 years of Hands-on experience of Siemens S7-300/400/1200/1500 series PLC systems, with understanding of OT Cyber security, configuration management and requirements management.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience of Siemens S7-300/400/1200/1500 series PLC systems.
• Expert in working with Step7/TIA Portal software and simulation environment.
• Working knowledge of OT cyber security and concepts like “Design for security” and “Defense in depth”
• Hands-on experience on Interfaces between PLC and adjacent components
• Proficient with Applying industry best practices and protocols on PLC programming level
• Proficient in popular programming methods such as Statement List (STL), Structured Control Language (SCL), Ladder logic, and Functional Block Diagrams (FBD).
• Experienced in HMI and SCADA (WinCC) systems.
• Practical knowledge of field bus systems (ASi, Profibus, Profinet, ProfiSafe, Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet).
• Provide accurate time estimates to plan and deliver own work.
• Manage and release standard product deliverables.
• Risk identification, documenting them, and work on solutions to mitigate/eliminate risks.
• Familiar with product development life cycle.
• Ensure process conformity, quality, and timely delivery of committed tasks.
• Promote competence development, spread domain specific knowledge, coach, and educate others.
