The Role


As a Piping Stress Engineer with Worley,you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience.


  • Stress analysis of piping connected to various equipment like pumps, columns, compressors, turbines, heat exchangers, vessels etc,
  • Preparation of stress critical line list
  • Preparation of stress design basis
  • Selection of pipe supports
  • Preparation of special pipe supports
  • Preparation of data sheets for springs, expansion joints, struts, snubbers
  • MR/TBE/Vendor drawing review of springs, expansion joints, struts, snubbers
  • Stress analysis for FIV/AIV, water hammer
  • Troubleshooting and resolving site issues 

About You


To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:


  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Production Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in piping stress analysis software - Caesar II 
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.3, ASME Section VIII, API, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • 8 - 12 years of experience in piping stress analysis with progressively increasing responsibilities.
