Position Overview:

The Piping Stress Analysis Engineer will be responsible for performing detailed stress analysis of piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. The role requires expertise in stress analysis software, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage client interactions effectively.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute piping stress analysis using Caesar software, ensuring the integrity and safety of piping systems in accordance with industry standards.
  • Prepare and establish the project design basis for stress analysis, including the creation of a Stress Critical Line List.
  • Prepare stress reports in the required project deliverable format and maintain accurate documentation of stress-related data.
  • Mark up stress-related data, including routing changes, support locations, and types, on isometric drawings for updating in the 3D model.
  • Prepare piping load summaries as input for piping/structural design and design datasheets, RFQs, MRs, TBAs, and VDRs for bought-out supports like springs.
  • Participate in client meetings, providing clear communication and efficiently handling customer and client queries.
  • Ensure all deliverables are completed on time, adhering to project deadlines and quality standards.

RequirementsEssential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in piping stress analysis, preferably in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
  • Proficient in using Caesar, Plant 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and SolidWorks.
Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of piping stress analysis principles and industry standards (ASME, API, etc.).
  • Ability to prepare detailed stress reports and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Proficient in using design and analysis software such as Caesar, Plant 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and SolidWorks.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
