The Role


As a Piping Layout Engineer with Worley,you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc…. 


  • Develop and review piping layouts and 3D models, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Create and evaluate technical specifications, tender bid evaluations, and vendor documentation for piping components in mineral beneficiation plants.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of layout engineering and piping engineering principles, including systems for mills, cyclones, flotation cells, sizers, thickeners, filter presses, pumps, compressors, and heat exchangers.
  • Conduct slurry piping design and engineering, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
  • Perform pipe stress analysis and develop support systems in accordance with engineering best practices.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of piping material specifications and familiarity with national and international codes and standards (IS, ASME, API, BS, EN).
  • Review 3D models using various 3D review software platforms to ensure design integrity.
  • Collaborate effectively in workshare environments with lead offices and other disciplines.
  • Interact with all stakeholders, including interdisciplinary teams, clients, and vendors, to facilitate project success.
  • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats with clients and lead offices.

About You


To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:


  • Graduate degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Power, or Production Engineering.
  • 8-15 years of relevant experience in piping layout engineering, preferably within a consultancy organization, EPC company, or technical services department.
  • Strong understanding of slurry piping design and engineering systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
