  • Continuously uphold and enhance discipline-specific procedures, providing feedback for ongoing improvement.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of the technical assurance framework.
  • Ensure adherence to competence standards.
  • Participate in incident investigations as needed.
  • Set performance expectations for team members.
  • Maintain personal competence and pursue continuous development.
  • Offer discipline-specific support to the business.
  • Capture and utilize learning opportunities.
  • Understand relevant regulatory frameworks and legislation.
  • Define project scopes proficiently.
  • Supervise Piping Engineering tasks performed by EPC contractors for major greenfield and brownfield projects as part of the Client's PMT.
  • Foster effective communication and challenge within the EPC Contractors Engineering team to produce safe, cost-effective, fit-for-purpose, and constructible Piping designs.
  • Provide technical leadership and decision-making for Piping engineering tasks performed by EPC contractors.
  • Participate in all project safety and design reviews as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot Piping design issues, resolving them with engineering and/or fabricators by raising and resolving Site/Technical Queries.
  • Attend daily/weekly engineering progress meetings and generate status reports as required.
  • Manage the Change process, including reviewing proposals.
  • Assist construction personnel with general technical queries and details.
  • Resolve technical Piping engineering problems and coordinate the application of solutions.
  • Ensure all work is completed without compromising quality and is delivered according to the project schedule.
  • Possess excellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the piping discipline and the basic requirements of other disciplines.
  • Have a thorough understanding of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications : 


  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • Minimum years of relevant experience in the Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas industry, including in the GCC region.
  • Experience in a similar position in mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
  • Offshore experience is added advantage, with ADNOC experience preferred.
  • FEED experience is a must.
  • Proficiency in engineering computer programs and general business software.
  • Experience working in a multi-project/multi-disciplined environment and throughout all engineering and design phases of projects.
