The Role


As a Piping Stress Engineer with Worley,you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc…. 


  • Stress Engineer should be able to perform piping stress analysis using Caesar II is must, experience using Autopipe/Rohr II software will be add-on advantage.
  • Perform analysis for sustained, thermal and multiple operating and occasional cases (viz wind, seismic, relief, hammer etc.) as per Design basis.
  • Perform pipe stress analysis for different equipment i.e., Steam turbine, Compressors, Centrifugal Pumps, tanks, exchangers, heaters, columns, Air coolers etc.
  • Ability to perform associated calculations of piping system i.e., Slug force, PSV force, trunnion checks and flange leakage check.
  • Well versed with preparation of stress critical line list, nozzle loads transmittals and vessel cleats, loading for pipe rack/ structures as an input to CSA.
  • Ability to review the model in 3D for possible/optimal routing changes, supporting for critical/non-critical lines etc.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry in onshore and/or offshore facilities.

About You


To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry in onshore and/or offshore facilities.
  • A degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering with at least 1 - 10 years’ experience in major oil/gas projects.
  • Should have good communication skills
