The Role

As a Piping Designer with Worley,you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc….

• We are seeking a talented Piping Microstation Designer to join our team.
• As a Piping Microstation Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed piping designs and layouts using Microstation software.
• You will collaborate closely with engineers and project teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and industry standards.
• This role requires a strong understanding of piping systems, CAD software proficiency, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Designing and drafting piping layouts, isometrics, and detailed drawings using Microstation software (2D and 3D).
• Collaborating with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Ensuring designs comply with industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Conducting site visits and surveys to gather information for design purposes.
• Reviewing and revising designs based on feedback and project requirements.
• Performing quality checks on designs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assisting in the preparation of technical documentation and reports as needed.

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

• Associate ITI/Diploma/degree or equivalent in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in piping design using Microstation software (2D and 3D)..
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and construction methods.
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Microstation.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and diagrams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• ITI/Dip/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in the Metals and Mining, oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial sectors.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, E3D) will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.).
