There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Summary: As a Performance Engineer, you will diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. Your role will involve five aspects of Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management, and problem detection and resolution. You will contribute to ensuring the optimal performance of our systems and applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions. - Design and execute performance tests to evaluate system performance and identify areas for improvement. - Analyze performance test results and provide recommendations for optimizing system performance. - Conduct capacity planning to ensure systems can handle expected workloads. - Monitor application performance in production and troubleshoot performance issues as they arise. - Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in performance engineering. - Assist in the development and implementation of performance monitoring tools and processes. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cassandra Database. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Big Data Administration, Python (Programming Language). - Strong understanding of performance engineering principles and methodologies. - Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. - Knowledge of capacity planning techniques and tools. - Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools such as New Relic or AppDynamics. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Cassandra Database. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.15 years full time education
