Summary:
ThePeopleSoft Financial Specialistwill be responsible for supporting and contributing to the development and maintenance of software solutions for clients, particularly in the area of General Ledger. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and play a key role in delivering innovative financial solutions.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development.
- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials, particularly General Ledger.
- Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to understand their business requirements related to financial processes and develop software solutions to meet those requirements.
- Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions using PeopleSoft Financials and related technologies.
- Collaborate closely with the project team to contribute to the development of software solutions using a variety of technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PeopleSoft Financials in a timely manner.
- Participate in code and design reviews to ensure software solutions meet high-quality standards and adhere to best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology developments and trends in financial software solutions and share knowledge with the team.
Technical Skills:
- PeopleSoft Financials:Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft General Ledger and related modules.
- Open-Source Technologies:Familiarity with relevant open-source technologies applicable to financial solutions.
- Cloud-Based Technologies:Experience with cloud solutions and their integration with PeopleSoft.
- Database Systems:Proficiency in database management systems, including SQL.
- Development Methodologies:Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Engage with clients to gather requirements and provide ongoing support.
- Develop and maintain PeopleSoft Financial applications, focusing on General Ledger functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between financial processes and technology.
- Conduct testing and validation of software solutions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Document processes, solutions, and technical specifications for future reference.
