Job Description

Global Business Services (GBS) was established as a new transversal, multi-disciplinary function supporting and accelerating Sanofi’s transformation towards establishing a sustainable standalone Consumer Healthcare business through the implementation of a set of operational legal presence across in-scope markets. Consumer Healthcare (CHC) Global Business Services (GBS) drives transformation projects to ensure it delivers best in class processes in terms of quality, cost, performance, customer satisfaction and needs, supported by high quality master data and performance KPIs.


PEOPLE SERVICES (PPLS) will be covering the following areas of the process:


  • Organization & Employee Master Data: data accuracy and data completeness
  • Employee Life Cycle Management: from hiring to retiring, including contract and job changes
  • Employee queries: global and local articles, ticketing
  • External Workforce: data management, onboarding and offboarding
  • Transversal: reporting, compliance, continuous improvement
  • Time to Pay (T2P): payroll data, calculation, post payroll and support activities

The People Services Technology & Solutions team aims to deliver courageous and streamlined solutions that empower our diverse talent to achieve exceptional outcomes together. Acting as a key enabler leveraging technology to streamline HR processes, optimize system performance and support operational team delivering optimized solutions, the team is responsible for;


  • Core HR system maintenance and enhancement
  • Employee support model
  • Data and reporting management
  • Performance monitoring and visualization
  • Continuous improvement and project support

In 2025, 2026 the company will implement a new HR system for which the T&S team will play a critical role


The purpose of this role is to:


  • HR system implementation
    • Co-lead with Digital the implementation of Workday modules, including requirements gathering from People & Culture (P&C), Talent Acquisition (TA), Rewards and benefits (R&P), design, configuration, testing, and deployment. Ensure alignment with business needs and adherence to best practices.
    • Work closely with P&C, Digital, and other departments to understand requirements, provide expert advice on Workday functionalities, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
    • Coordinate and manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables for Workday implementations. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely and effective project execution.
    • Develop and maintain integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems. Partner with Digital to troubleshoot and resolve any integration issues.
    • Design and execute UAT for system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. Ensure that the Workday platform operates smoothly, meets user requirements, and supports our HR processes.
    • Develop training materials and provide ongoing support to P&C and PPLS to optimize Workday utilization. Ensure end-users are informed and trained on new functionalities and system updates.
  • Post implementation responsibilities
    • Regularly review with Digital product owner system configurations and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement. Implement process enhancements to streamline HR processes and enhance system efficiency.
    • Maintain user access matrix up to date and conduct access audit
    • Manage and coordinate system upgrades, including planning, testing, and deployment. Ensure compatibility with business processes and minimal disruption to HR operations.
    • Provide ongoing user support for HR and other Workday users, resolving issues, answering questions, and enhancing user satisfaction.
    • Stay current with Workday updates and new features, proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements, and implement improvements to streamline HR processes.
  • Transversal project
    • Partner with Master Data Management, Finance, P&C and Digital to design end to end people data governance
    • Partner with People Services, P&C and TA operational team to collect, analyze and improve Workday related pain point and area for improvement

He / She works closely with Digital, Master Data Management, P&C, PPLS operational team at regional and global levels.
