Role Summary:


Thales is expanding it’s People Support Services (PSS) operations to Noida and establishing a shared services center to support multiple regions. We are seeking an experienced People Support Services (PSS) Manager to lead and manage a team of PSS agents in Noida.


Main Tasks and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities)


This role is responsible for delivering high-quality HR services across multiple regions. It involves overseeing HR transactions, managing the employee lifecycle, handling HR systems, and generating reports. The PSS Manager will collaborate closely with regional HR teams to align processes with business needs and ensure operational efficiency.


Team Leadership & Management


  • Lead and manage a team of PSS agents in Noida, ensuring high levels of team performance and motivation.


  • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to team members to enhance skills and drive performance.


  • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, encouraging open communication and problem-solving.


  • Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance metrics for the team, regularly monitoring progress and providing feedback.


HR Service Delivery Oversight


  • Ensure high-quality HR service delivery across multiple regions in line with Thales' HR policies and standards.


  • Monitor and manage the execution of HR transactions related to employee lifecycle management, such as onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, and leave management.


  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of HR services to employees and managers, focusing on consistency, accuracy, and responsiveness.


Employee Lifecycle Management


  • Oversee and manage the HR processes involved in the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, career development, and separation.


  • Ensure adherence to compliance requirements, data privacy, and confidentiality standards in all employee-related activities.


Process Alignment & Improvement


  • Collaborate with regional HR teams to align people support services with business needs, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness.


  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and standardization, implementing best practices across regions.


  • Review and streamline existing workflows, recommending and leading initiatives to improve service delivery.


Reporting & Analytics


  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to employee lifecycle, service delivery, and operational efficiency.


  • Analyze HR data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and areas of excellence within HR operations.


  • Present regular updates on team performance, service levels, and key challenges to senior leadership.


Stakeholder Management & Communication


  • Serve as the point of contact for regional HR teams and senior leadership on People Support Services-related matters.


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HRBPs, managers, and other stakeholders to understand and address business needs.


  • Communicate effectively with employees and managers to ensure transparency, resolve issues, and foster positive relationships.


Compliance & Risk Management


  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices in all HR activities.


  • Address any potential risks or compliance issues, escalating as necessary to senior leadership.


  • Regularly review HR policies and practices to ensure alignment with legal requirements and company standards.


Continuous Improvement & Innovation


  • Stay current with HR trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in People Support Services.


  • Lead initiatives to innovate HR service delivery, leveraging new technologies or processes to improve efficiency and employee experience.


  • Promote a culture of continuous learning within the PSS team, encouraging ongoing professional development.


Knowledge/ Skills/Tools


Mandatory Knowledge


  • 10+ years in HR Shared Services or People Shared Services, or similar operational environments (like global HR operations, service delivery).


  • Focus on delivering high-quality customer service to employees and stakeholders.


  • Commitment to creating an employee-first culture in shared services operations, ensuring positive    employee experiences across HR services.


  • Experience in managing and overseeing HR service operations including employee lifecycle management, benefits administration, payroll, talent acquisition support, performance management support, etc.


  • Process Optimization & Service Delivery.


  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels (employees, HR leadership, external vendors).


  • Ability to report on HR metrics, using data to drive decision-making.
