How you will contribute
You will:
- Partner on organization design and implementation of people plans, function transformation agendas, accelerating core capability development in line with strategic plans, while enabling a growth culture that translates into employee engagement. Plan and lead on employee relations, legal and tax implications across geographies.
- Pre-empt future HR concerns through use of data and analytics, workforce planning, leveraging insights to proactively seek and implement solutions that impact the bottom line and enable business strategy .
- Partner with leaders and the Talent Acquisition COE to attract high-caliber talent and onboarding into the business.
- Be accountable for reviewing compensation programs and supporting compensation decisions outside of guidelines.
- Enable and co-lead enterprise-wide initiatives (for example leadership framework, digital workplace).
- Design and enable effective organization structures and ways of working, including the use of non-conventional workforces

Purpose of the role:
As People Lead supporting sales organization, you will be part of the People Leadership team (PLT) and Sales Leadership team (SLT) and act as strategic HR partner to the SLT. You will work closely with Sales Leaders to align on people strategies with business objectives to drive performance, engagement, and organizational growth. You will lead a team of seasoned HR professionals to deliver and shape critical talent agenda, enhance workforce capabilities, and foster an inclusive, high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sales leadership to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support sales objectives, including revenue targets, market expansion, and customer satisfaction.
- Strong understanding of the Sales Go-to- Market activities and lifecycle. Partnering with sales leaders through the wing-to-wing process from strategic planning to execution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales leaders, providing strategic HR guidance and consultation on talent management, employee development, organizational design, and employee relations.
- Collaborate with Sales leadership to identify talent needs. Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment strategies to attract, hire, and retain top sales talent. Identify opportunities for internal talent mobility.
- Work in partnership with our employee relations and compensation teams to lead initiatives that will assess and enhance the effectiveness of the sales organization, including sales performance management and compensation.
- Analyze sales and HR data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations to drive sales productivity and performance.
- Enhance the HR processes and practices by analyzing HR metrics and data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork between Sales and HR, facilitating effective communication and partnership across departments.
- Work with Talent Management to collaborate on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment to support the successful implementation of Dayforce’s strategic imperatives.
- Partner with the Total Rewards team in driving compensation and benefits strategies and proactively identify challenges and opportunities within the sales organization.
- Lead high impact projects with on-time delivery, measurable outcomes and impact, and robust communication/change management; drive HR events such as annual review, compensation, and policy related implementations.
- Collaborate closely with other regional HRBP business partners to exchange best practices and ensure we are consistently delivering best-in-class service to our clients.
- Lead, mentor and coach a team of high performing team to deliver organization goal and agenda.
Qualifications:
- Education: MBA in Human Resources, or a related field.
Experience:
- 12+ years of total HR experience; minimum 7 years of prior HR Business Partner experience.
- Must have experience partnering with the sales function and demonstrated progressed HRBP roles.
- HR Management: Strong understanding and experience with core aspects of HR functions - staffing; employee & labor relations; performance management; leadership development; training.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionable items.
- Business acumen: Good business sense and judgement reflected in key decisions made within the business and HR function.
- Problem solving: Well-honed analytical and problem-solving skills. Creative, risk-taking and results oriented mindset.
- Influencing: Communicates with impact. Use tailored communication and create authentic and trusting relationships to influence clients, especially related to organizational planning & design. Proven ability to influence decision making; courage to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professional and poise.
- Agile: Comfortable working in ambiguous business situations; highly adaptable to a fluid and ever-changing work environment.
- Consultative: Strong coaching, consulting, and facilitation skills. Must possess consultative style and approach with proven ability to develop credible relationships.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to accomplish work through others, including leading project teams. Demonstrated experience in initiating and leading change, including modeling the importance, motivating others, managing the key drivers of change, and overcoming obstacles. Excellent follow-through skills and the ability to anticipate and address business needs proactively.
- Previous talent management and succession planning experience preferred.
- Possess a strong work ethic; self-motivated with a desire to take initiative and look for ways to improve processes and create efficiencies; have a strong sense of urgency.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills in managing through multiple priorities with overlapping tasks across multiple businesses.
- Team-oriented attitude balanced with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintains strict confidentiality and adheres to a high standard of professional conduct.
