The Role of the PBP & ER Manager is to Support CHC India P & C team in the development, planning and implementation of Employee relations strategy and procedures and is responsible for Implementing the Strategy for CHC Business while ensuring alignment with business agenda and directions from Country/Global HR


.. The incumbent would also support People Director India in managing Life cycle management of employee and implementation of Human Capital Strategy.


The incumbent is responsible for Managing a workforce of more than 600 full time employees and 100+ temporary employees. The Key KPI’s for the role includes:


  • Ensuring Industrial peace
  • Implementation of Employee Relations strategy
  • Implements HR Policies and programs, supports business leaders in all people, related matters.
  • Successfully Represent the company before authorities/courts in legal matters
  • Drive Critical People & Culture Projects from time to time.

The Key deliverables of this role include:


  • Support business team as Business Partner
  • Drive Critical HR projects from Time to time.
  • Manages Employer-Employee relations by building and maintaining a positive relationship with Unions, government officials, Labor legal advisors.
  • Identifies potential labor relations problems, opportunities, issues and evaluates their impacts.
  • Develops plans to address specific issues.
  • Coordinates local level negotiation and/or participates in negotiation of agreements with unions.
  • Advises HR Business Partners and line management regarding interpretation / application of wage settlements and to handle specific labor relations problems.
  • Handles grievances.
  • Represent the company’s interests in courts/other authorities.
  • Assures compliance with agreements.
  • Maintains formal/informal communication with union leadership on a continuing basis.
  • Will be responsible for driving Disciplinary process and Actions to ensure consistency and fairness while addressing violations as per Global and Local guidelines from time to time.
  • Accountable for driving and implementation of HR processes and policies

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies / Language


  • Good understanding of Labour Legislation and procedures
  • Good Awareness of Industrial relations scenario in region and industry
  • Strong skills in grievance handling and conflict managementGood liaison and relations with external authorities and agencies
  • Proven ability to handle different IR scenarios and situations of industrial unrest
  • Good understanding of disciplinary process
  • Proficiency in local language

Qualifications


  • Post Graduation in Human Resource Management.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in similar position
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus
