Job Description
Software Requirements:We are seeking a skilled Senior Associate Pega Developer with a solid understanding of the Pega platform, along with knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Overall Responsibilities:- Develop and implement Pega PRPC applications and workflows based on business requirements.
- Customize and configure Pega PRPC components, including case types, data models, user interfaces, integrations, and reporting.
- Collaborate with business analysts, system architects, and other stakeholders to design and test Pega PRPC solutions that meet user needs and comply with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Pega PRPC issues and defects; provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications.
- Stay updated with Pega PRPC technology trends and best practices, recommending improvements and enhancements to existing processes and systems.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members; participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Actively participate in Agile or Scrum development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
Technical Skills:- Pega Development:Proficient in Pega PRPC application development and customization.
- Programming Languages:Knowledge of one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Development Methodologies:Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools such as Agile, Scrum, Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
Experience:- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Pega or related technologies.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and participating in code reviews.
Day-to-Day Activities:- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and project planning sessions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design effective solutions.
- Write, test, and deploy Pega solutions in accordance with project timelines.
- Engage in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay current with the latest technology trends and advancements in Pega development.
- Provide technical support to team members and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Soft Skills:- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Adaptability to new technologies and changing requirements.
- Good time management and prioritization skills.
