Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a talented Pega Developer with 7+ years of experience in software development, including a minimum of 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Pega, with at least 2 years in Pega 8.x. The ideal candidate will be CSSA certified and equipped to understand requirements and participate in the design and implementation of high-quality applications using Pega's out-of-the-box features.


Overall Responsibilities:


Requirement Analysis:


  • Participate in understanding business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to design effective Pega solutions.
  • Analyze and clarify requirements to ensure alignment with project goals and standards.

Solution Design and Implementation:


  • Design and implement qualitative applications using Pega’s out-of-the-box functionalities with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure that Pega best practices are followed during the implementation process to enhance application performance and maintainability.

Unit Testing:


  • Create or modify unit tests to ensure quality and functionality of the applications while implementing new features and functionalities.
  • Conduct thorough testing of implemented solutions to identify and rectify defects before deployment.

Collaboration and Communication:


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, and QA teams, to facilitate effective communication and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Provide regular updates on progress and contribute to team meetings and discussions.

Skills and Experience:


  • Pega Expertise: 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Pega development, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Pega 8.x.


  • Certification: CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect) certified, demonstrating validated knowledge and skills in the Pega platform.


  • Software Development: At least 7 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Pega applications.


  • Technical Skills:


    • Proficiency in Pega development techniques, including Case Management, Integration, and User Interface development.
    • Knowledge of Pega’s out-of-the-box functionalities include built-in tools for case management, user interface components, decision rules, data integration, reporting, workflow automation, security, collaboration, and task routing and best practices like component reuse, model-driven development, performance optimization, automated testing, version control, documentation, user-centric design, and effective change management, all designed to streamline application development and maintenance.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design solutions that meet business needs effectively.


  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
