Job title: PDM Configuration Designer
Your role:


  • Drive changes to product BOM structures through established processes for existing and New Products and drive new initiatives through Lean methodologies.
  • Manage the BOM w.r.t obsolescence and product issues swiftly with quality.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary cross functional team (R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Service, Marketing, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory,) effectively to realize results.
  • Develop skills and improve effectiveness of engineers and change management specialists within the team. Perform functional management tasks including hiring, performance appraisal, and career development planning and opportunities.
  • Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.
  • Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization's and that emphasizes the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the organization.
  • Encourage Continuous improvement opportunities and innovation in product configuration management domain in-line with Ultrasound product and Business context.
  • Develop and maintain requisite skills in configuration management tools and infrastructure (E.g. Windchill, SAP).


You're the right fit if:


  • Master's / Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical/Bio-Medical Engineering with 8+ years of project/configuration management experience.
  • Hands-on experience in managing product configuration and BOM structures through defined PDM processes. Experience in Medical domain is an added advantage.
  • 3+ years of Experience in LCM management / Project management is highly preferred.
  • Experience in any of the configuration management tools (E.g. Windchill, SAP) and techniques is a mandatory requirement.
  • Experience in using bug tracking and SW version control tools like Team track and Clear-case is preferred
  • Knowledge on Regulatory requirements such as FDA, NMPA etc. is an added advantage.
  • Fast learner with system thinking mindset and interest to learn new technologies/business/systems.
  • Exposure working in global environment, ability to communicate on different levels, good listening skills, coaching and guiding project team, with good presentation skills.
  • Shows strong content knowledge of the business and ability to translate this to opportunities for the group. Have a strong business focus.
