Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Product Manager on the IBM Cloud platform automation team, you will drive advances in the automation, development, and DevOps tools that help customers bring their workloads to IBM Cloud securely and efficiently. This will include: - Working closely with customers, sellers, technical leaders, and other market experts to collect feedback and define capabilities that are needed for customer success and support our business strategy.
- Work closely with peer Product Managers to define measurable outcomes and track progress.
- Work closely with Design to concept delightful user experiences using narratives and well-baked requirements.
- Work closely with Development to document requirements, groom the backlog, forecast releases, plan iterations, and deliver high quality product to end users.
- Develop effective demos for sellers and customer success managers.
- Stay current on competitors and market trends in our segment.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields.
- 3+ years experience in Product Management or equivalent practical experience building or deploying products in a Cloud based software organization.
- 5+ years experience working in the Cloud or IT industry.
- Experience delivering products with agile development practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence people and establish relationships / build rapport with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- MBA from reputed Business School.
- Experience managing product roadmaps, end-to-end lifecycles, release cadence, and support.
- Experience in customer-driven usability and hypothesis-driven experimentation.
- Experience with developer tools, DevOps automation, security tools, or Infrastructure-as-Code.
