Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast paced and challenging area? This is a unique opportunity for you to work in the Analytics team to partner with the Business.


As an Associate within JPMorgan Payment Operations Strategy Office, Data Analytics and Solution team, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing, building, testing, and producing executive and operational reporting/solution’s to support management decisions as well as performing ad-hoc analysis to meet the needs of all internal business partners leveraging various data sources. 


Job responsibilities


  • Oversee deliverables for the Reporting and Analytics team
  • Provide daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting
  • Develop data analytics and solutions
  • Perform data mining, analytics, and problem-solving
  • Collaborate closely with Technology and Operations to develop requirements and implement new capabilities
  • Proactively engage in mitigating risk through continuous process improvement, root cause analysis, and collaboration with Operations teams
  • Create presentations for senior executives

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:


  • Bachelor's or Master‘s degree in a quantitative field or an equivalent combination of education and/or business experience. 
  • Minimum 5 Years of experience in business system analysis or business application design and development role
  • Minimum 3 Years of experience with SQL, Python, Alteryx, Any Cloud Database or another programming language in a work-related capacity is required.
  • Working knowledge with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Business Objects)
  • Proficiency with querying enterprise databases using SQL to obtain relevant data for analysis
  • Good understanding of operations within banking industry; preferably with knowledge of payment processing.
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills with the ability to provide sound recommendations to management
  • Proven strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:


  • Preferred - Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) 
  • Preferred - Knowledge of database design and relational database principles, prior experience with large scale data warehouse/Cloud
