Job Description

Asia Core Cash Operations is responsible for completing fund transfer requests / payments / Cheques received from our clients both financial & non-financial institutions. Transaction requests are received through SWIFT / Cheques / Manual Instruction. 


Job Summary:


As a Payment Lifecycle Specialist within our Cash Operations team, you will be directly responsible for daily operational tasks. These tasks include processing cheques and Swift transactions, as well as verifying client identities.


Job Responsibilities:


  1. Process Swift/ISO payments, both local and FX, including serial and cover payments. Clear cheques, including inward, outward, and collection products.
  2. Support payment activities such as manual instruction validation, Nostro reconciliation, EOD reconciliation, and fund control checks.
  3. Monitor the process mailbox and manage queries/escalations.
  4. Monitor and clear the processing queue. Maintain accuracy in production. Perform quality checks on a regular basis.
  5. Follow regulatory and process requirements and maintain standard operating procedures.
  6. Ensure exception procedures are followed for every process deviation.
  7. Complete assigned tasks within expected timelines. Ensure TAT is met for processes handled.
  8. Coordinate with stakeholders, including service/product and regional management.
  9. Maintain MIS/productivity tracker. Ensure timely escalation is performed in case of issues.
  10. Assist PVT during weekends, as and when required.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:


  • Knowledge of SWIFT / ISO & Cheque product.
  • Knowledge in Nostro recon and monitoring 
  • Work experience of Minimum 2 years in similar role/function.
  • Graduate and above.
  • Flexibility in working hours / days.
  • Should be familiar with AI tools.
