Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
We are seeking an experienced individual who is technically proficient in AWS cloud solutions and capable of designing highly modular, scalable, reliable, and secure SaaS reference architectures to join our technology partner eco-system team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse internal technology teams and dynamic software partners for a world leading software company and make a significant impact to the technology strategy organization to drive multiple partner eco-system strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Technical Advisory
Work closely with various business and technical stakeholders, data scientists and technology partners to help design modern head-less, microservices based, API-First and data-driven application architectures.
Develop guidelines for cloud native and hybrid cloud deployment policies, scripts and templates for scalable & reliable cloud software deployment models.
Create repository of partner resources including various Siemens software API’s, SDK libraries, tools, connectors, use cases and documentation for partner access
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with multiple internal segment software teams to understand the design and recommend best practices for developing modular, value driven and composable architectures for a strong partner eco-system tech stack offering.
Design Reference Architectures
Design, develop, and maintain flexible, re-usable AWS cloud-based reference architectures for our Partner Enablement
Develop AWS cloud application templates based on various design patterns including event driven, strangler fig, API routing microservices, distributed publish-subscribe, data-mesh, containerized modules, hybrid on-prem & cloud deploy ready.
Demonstrate Application Integrations & Connectors
Help partners with prototyping pre-built integration and interface connectors for existing Siemens (Teamcenter, NX, Opcenter, InsightsHub etc.) and other 3rd party, applications like CRM (Salesforce) and ERP (SAP) using APIs, Hub & spoke, Enterprise Bus, and other modern technologies.
Partner Training & Advocacy
Develop technical content, documentation, and guidelines for technology partners to build robust, secure, and scalable cloud solutions.
Work with technology partners to help design, develop, integrate, and onboard new partner applications on Siemens accelerator cloud to ensure best partner experience.
Partner Software Assessment
Help partners review software quality, data security, reliability and incidence response guidelines using industry standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in developing AWS cloud-based enterprise applications.
Strong experience with AWS Tech stack including:
Compute services like EC2, Lambda, EKS, SQS, IoT Hub, Lambda
Security services including AWS IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, API Gateway
Storage & Database services: S3, RDS, DynamoDB
Deployment Tools: Docker, Kubernetes
Programming languages: Java, C++, Python, Node.JS, or JavaScript
Expertise in designing modular, reusable components with microservices and APIs.
Strong architecture know-how of various software design patterns, distributed systems architecture, resiliency, and data security
Broad knowledge of web standards relating to APIs such as REST, SOAP, XML, WSDL, HTTP, JSON, etc.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across various functions, cultures and geographies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence various business heads, technical community and leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Professional AWS certified Solution Architect with know-how of Well Architected Framework
Experience in Software development in Industrial verticals
Experience with Siemens software like Teamcenter, NX, SolidEdge & Mendix
Exposure to ML, GenAI and Agentic AI applications
