A leading law firm is seeking an accomplished Capital Markets Partner to join their dynamic team in Mumbai. This role is ideal for a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in capital markets and a proven track record of managing complex transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage capital markets transactions, including IPOs, QIPs, rights issues, debt offerings, and private placements.
• Advise clients on securities laws, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance matters.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, leveraging an existing book of business of at least INR 1 crore.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the firm to support multi-disciplinary mandates.
• Mentor and develop junior lawyers within the capital markets practice.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 13 years of post-qualification experience in capital markets with a reputed law firm.
• Strong expertise in Indian securities laws, SEBI regulations, and global capital market practices.
• Demonstrated ability to originate and manage a significant book of business (minimum INR 1 crore).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and client management skills.
• Current experience in a law firm is mandatory; candidates with an in-house background will not be considered.
