PAM Engineer Job Description

Responsibilities for PAM Engineer 


  • Be part of IAM engineering team supporting firm’s PAM requirements. 
  • Provide Subject-matter expertise across Privileged Access Management area as it relates to both cloud and on-premises enterprise technology. 
  • Provide architectural and best practices leadership related to the implementation of Cybersecurity controls in PAM domain. 
  • Be part of PAM team supporting Privileged Access Management control across the firm 

Qualifications for PAM Engineer 


  • 4-6 years’ experience working with CyberArk core PAS in a large enterprise environment. 
  • Understanding of Privileged Access Management framework and controls. 
  • Understanding of JIT access provisioning, session management and session recording methodologies of Privileged Access Management 
  • Experience working CPM, PSM, Alero (Vendor PAM), and Privilege Cloud. 
  • Experience onboarding and managing privileged system and user accounts for Windows, NIX, databases, AWS/Azure and other common platforms. 
  • Experience designing, creating, and managing platforms, policies, and custom PSM connectors. 
  • Experience managing non-human accounts (service, system, and administrator accounts). 
  • Experience with CyberArk discovery tools – DNA and Account Discovery. 
  • Experience with Azure PIM for Privileged Access Management. 
  • Experience with security administration of Windows, Active Directory, AAD and NIX (Centrify) systems. 
  • Proficient with CyberArk Rest-API. 
  • Scripting/programming skills in shell, python, .net, java, and PowerShell. 
  • Familiar with fundamental networking and server operations concepts (Firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, Operating Systems, etc.). 

Understanding of Agile methodology and working knowledge of JIRA
