Job description:
The Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) Developer/Sr. Developer will be responsible for supporting, designing and developing ORMB Billing applications.
The ideal candidate will bring robust experience in developing technical solutions and data processing in large volume financial systems. This role will participate in various design discussions, create solution, design deliverables, and develop technical solutions to implement the solution and ensure successful delivery of business capabilities.
Skill set:
8-10 years of significant hands-on development experience with the Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) product
Expertise on Oracle Utilities Application Framework, Oracle/SQL query, Java, JSON, Oracle Database, JavaScript, RESTful API, Web Services, SOAP
Experience implementing ORMB for Financial institutions is a plus
Configuration Tools: MO, BO, Business Service, Business component, Service Scripts, Plug-In Scripts, BPA Scripts, Zones, UI Map, Portals, SQ rule, Rate configuration.
Java Based: Algorithm, Algorithm Spot, Batch Jobs, Change Handler, Business Entity.
Experienced in developing batch interfaces both inbound and outbound to ORMB.
Experienced in developing APIs integrating ORMB with external applications and online customer portals.
Hands on experience on control-M scheduling or any other monitoring tool for batch monitoring
Ability to resolve issues/troubleshoot application in a high-pressure & time critical environment
Functional/technical understanding across process areas Customer Management, Pricing, TFM, Billing, Payments, Accounting modules in ORMB
Oracle BI Publisher experience highly desirable
Job Responsibilities:
Experience interacting with multiple stakeholders, gathering and prioritizing requirements, and facilitating project scope definition.
Lead development/enhancements of custom solutions across modules Algorithms, Batch Jobs, Business components, BPA Scripts, UI Maps, Zones, Business services etc.
Develop inbound/outbound interfaces (both batch and APIs) to integrate ORMB with upstream and downstream applications.
Ensure development and testing of components across process areas Customer Management, Billing, Payments, Pricing, Interfaces, APIs
Proven track record of successful system troubleshooting and assisting end users/customers in a timely manner.
Perform code reviews to ensure deliverables meet the quality, performance and best engineering practices.
Support performance analysis/tuning to ensure deliverables meet defined SLAs.
Manage system configurations, application environments and support for the installations, deployments and application upgrades of ORMB both in production and non-production environments.
Support testing teams with analysis across the various phases of implementation SIT/UAT/Performance/Parallel/Regression
Help Automation test teams to build robust test suites to improve test coverage.
Provide production support by analyzing incident tickets, impact analysis and solution fixes.
A high attention to detail and quality
Must possess the drive and ability to assist in the ongoing development of the ORMB application and processes, be able to work as a team player and thrive in a high-profile environment
