Department


You will be part of Global order handling team. Your primary role is to support with order execution along with our technical departments, proposal team, procurement, and shipping functions. You will also ensure our customers’ satisfaction, you should be in daily contact with our valued mining customers, just as you liaise with our sales managers and technical advisors.


Proposal and Order Execution :


Lead and manage the execution of the sale order according to the execution plan by ensuring better contribution margin, revenue, quality and timely delivery while meeting or improving the customer requirement.
Review and finalize large / complex proposals and orders.
Review orders with Bank Guarantee / LC term in collaboration with finance, legal, Procurementand logistics team for finalization.
Align with legal & compliance team for proposal and order execution for Embargo countries.
Retrieve equipment specifications / technical input from appropriate business legacy system and provide input to proposal engineers to prepare technical proposal.
Create and implement proposal and order execution strategies and align with standard operating procedures.
Reviews and manages succession planning and competency development needs
Manage proposal timelines and coordinate proposal governance and sign-off
Monitoring and evaluate all orders and sales processes covering order processing, tracking of orders execution and ensuring timely delivery.
Provide training for colleagues in various regional office and support management in implementing common IT system across the organization.
Review order intake for order typology/product category for appropriate revenue generation.
Ensure appropriate order typology and product category during order booking.

Interface with Internal Stake Holders :


Align with ROD/IOD on all activities starting from Sale order booking throughout execution to ensure financial and performance success.
Collaborate with regional financial partner and communicate if there are any major deviation in order intake or contribution margin for any specific orders
Execute orders through POC/project module for upgrade and Retrofit in collaboration with engineering, finance, procurement & logistics. Discuss with finance / legal if there are any disputes on contractual or commercial terms..
Support customers in trouble shooting issues concerningdelivery, quality and warranty issues.

Customer Management :


Ensure DIFOT is met as per incoterms.
Monitor operational performance of proposal conversion and order intake.
Collection of payment from customer.

What you bring


  • You are a Global Business Engineer or have a comparable background.


  • Your previous career has provided you with experience within the cross field of technical sales and customer relations.


  • You are used to foreseeing and solving potential problems.


  • You are proactive and have a structured approach to your tasks, enabling you to handle several cases at a time.


  • You have a cross-cultural understanding and can communicate with people of different nationalities and professional backgrounds.


  • You have experience with Sharepoint and/or the Office 365 package.


Education Qualification


Bachelor’s Engineering degree from a reputed university. Mechanical specialization would be preferred.


Experience


6 to 10 years of experience in techno commercial proposals.


Experience in Engineering / Design / structural knowledge in plants equipment's will be an added advantage.


Experience in Procurement preferred.
