Oracle Cloud Fusion/EBS/RMB Solution Engineer
Role Profile We are looking for dynamic and forward-looking Oracle Cloud Fusion/EBS/RMB Solution Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for development, including the setup, configuration, and management, as well as coordinating OCI support and leading the Oracle Cloud Fusion, Oracle RMB, BIP Reporting and OICS Development team members. The candidate must have full understanding the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioural characteristics of large-scale implementation of Cloud Fusion. Responsibility includes development and implementation of critical test cases with focus on security, resiliency, scale, and performance. Partner with development teams and work towards addressing and fixing production issues on cloud, defining and implementing product enhancements. Collaborate with various cloud operations teams to understand the production issues and work towards to create a reproducible test case in the lab environment to present to the development team. Background LSEG have embarked on a Finance Transformation programme, to deliver our Finance Vision and transform the way we work to create value and deliver sustainable growth for the business. The Programme is driving efficiencies and maximising benefits for LSEG by moving to a single cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning and Performance Management (Oracle Fusion/RMB//EPM/EDM/OICS). As an Oracle Cloud Fusion/EBS/RMB Solution Engineer, will be responsible for: Business Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive reporting requirements, translating them into technical specifications. Provided solutions as per business requirements, project plan estimations Solution Design: Develop comprehensive solution architectures leveraging Oracle Cloud Fusion/ RMB/EBS capabilities to address specific business requirements and objectives. Configuration and Implementation: Configure Oracle Cloud Fusion/ RMB/EBS modules, including Revenue Management, Pricing, and Contracts, to align with client-specific needs and industry best practices. Data Migration: Plan and execute strategic data migration initiatives to populate Oracle Cloud Fusion/ RMB/EBS with accurate and complete data. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute rigorous test plans to validate the accuracy, performance, and compliance of the implemented Fusion/ RMB/EBS solution. Training and Knowledge Transfer: Provide comprehensive training and knowledge transfer to end-users and internal teams to enable effective utilization of Oracle Cloud Fusion/ RMB/EBS. Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Create comprehensive documentation for reports, including design specifications, user guides, and maintenance procedures, to facilitate knowledge transfer and ongoing support. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for existing reports, addressing user inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements as needed to maintain report effectiveness. Manage and work with Oracle support, consulting teams and should have a through understanding of the process that is involved dealing with Oracle SR’s. Work independently and solve problems and are willing to do what it takes to get things done. Ability to establish relationships and influence outside of authority while demonstrating Oracle expertise and resources. Effective interpersonal skills (written and spoken) and strong problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile development and rapid deployment in the Student Cloud/SaaS environment Extensive experience of Oracle Cloud and EBS R12 /RMB Architecture Hands on Knowledge on Cloud at Customer (GEN I, GEN II) or similar PaaS/IaaS experience Team player, able to work with different levels in the organization across multiple time zones. Naturally inquisitive, able to think creatively and offer solutions or alternative viewpoints. Knowledge/Skills Experience building features with technologies Oracle Cloud Fusion/ RMB/EBS. Strong knowledge in finance business process functions, including R2R, P2P, O2C and RMB. Data modelling, designed and implemented ETL interfaces/mappings to load data into DWH as per business and reporting requirements Experience and Skill of leading virtual teams, partner across organizational boundaries and influence development direction and Ability to motivate, grow and guide developers. Very good knowledge and expertise following the industry standard process/methods like Agile, DevOps, SDLC. Certifications: Relevant Oracle Cloud Fusion certifications, such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certifications or Oracle Fusion Applications certifications. Industry Expertise: Specific domain knowledge in areas such as finance, human capital management, supply chain, or enterprise resource planning. Project Management: Experience managing complex projects, including project planning, resource allocation, and risk management. Experience Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Fusion, RMB, EBS and all R2R, P2P, O2C, and Billing Modules. Experience in continuous delivery, deployment and monitoring of cloud-based services. Experience managing Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion Applications infrastructure and leading end to end operations for change control boards More than 8years of experience in Oracle ERP applications Implementation Experience working within a Finance Technology function, preferably with large Financial Services Organisation. Experience in driving high availability, resiliency, and scalability of a global Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion Applications landscape delivering metrics-driven continuous improvements.
